Mobile LiftNeed a mobile lift? Rotary Lift offers a mobile lift designed to fit any number of different applications. For your convenience, here is a brochure for Rotary's mobile lift in Adobe Acrobat format. Click here to download the Adobe Acrobat viewer. The most popular type of mobile lift is the mobile column (HP-15) lift or Portable mid-rise air-lift (XL-220 & XL-230). Mobile column lifts are the latest generation of heavy duty lifting products to enter the service marketplace. They offer operators an opportunity to lift very large vehicles in what is often a limited amount of space and it allows for it to be accomplished very economically. It is becoming widely accepted, that truck service facilities need to increase the clearance underneath heavy trucks to deliver effective service. On certain vehicles, it’s actually impossible to remove the clutch unless the vehicle is raised. Mobile lifts accommodate that need in a variety of ways. Mobile lift users can raise a vehicle partly off the ground and stand up fully underneath the truck. Where the operator does not own the building, these lifts allow the lifting of vehicles without the need to place the equipment permanently in the ground. The fact that the design is a portable lift, creates flexibility that never existed before with in-ground or fixed lifts. Mobile lifts can be used outdoors and because they are not fixed to the floor, they can be used to raise a vehicle onto jacks in one bay, and then moved to another bay to lift a vehicle there too. These portable lifts speed service functions by as much as 30%, they improve visibility under the vehicle and make the work environment much more satisfying and productive for technicians. Where ceiling height is a major factor, mid-rise mobiles allow vehicles to be raised partially off the floor to increase undercarriage clearance. Perhaps the best feature is the fact that the Rotary Lift design features built-in safety locks at 3” intervals. This means that the operator saves all the time they would normally waste setting up jack stands before working under the truck. On the automotive side, mobile lifts help light duty users enjoy benefits such as increased vehicle storage or increased service capacity from a fixed number of bays. The mobile 4-post lift, (Model SM-7 XLT) most popular with homeowners and do-it-yourselfers, allows operators to stack cars right inside their own garage. As the collector car market grows, auto enthusiasts look for a place to store their hot rod/sports car and still have a parking space for their daily transportation. Another popular portable lift is the Rotary Versa-Lift Series. These lifts are low to mid-rise lifts that are ideal for doing wheel service orfor use in low ceiling shops. Popular with repair stations and auto enthusiasts alike, the Versa-Lift allows excellent wheel service capability in a minimum amount of space. Roll them into your driveway, or leave them on the floor of your garage. Either way, this portable lift will give you a great way to service brakes and suspension quickly and safely in a place that you never could before. |
