    		There are several aftermarket companies out there that copy our parts and offer them for sale. But here at Rotary Lift, we want your parts business. Rotary offers the best price, availability, and delivery to make sure that quality Rotary OE parts are always your best choice.

    Here are several important factors to consider when evaluating aftermarket parts.
    • Aftermarket parts are reverse engineered. This means that they have to take measurements off a finished part and then set up their tooling to try to replicate the part. Aftermarket companies do not have access to the original design specifications. (A good example of this is an arm restraint gear currently being offered by an aftermarket firm. The mounting holes are “elongated” to “allow for easy adjustment” according the sale flyer. In fact, the Rotary part is precision machined to mount accurately and securely with close tolerance bolt holes. The elongated holes may just be a cover-up for imprecise manufacturing.)
    • The materials used could vary. Again, they have to make their best guess as to what metals and materials are used. In some cases this is no big deal, but in some critical parts, this could be very important. Rotary Lift is an ISO9001 company, meeting the highest international standards for quality processes.
    • The prices are not usually lower. One of the main reasons that some choose to use aftermarket parts is to save money. But the fact is, Rotary can often meet or even beat the price. You might be pleasantly surprised that you can have genuine Rotary OE quality for the same price, or very close.
    • Aftermarket parts may not have the latest improvements or changes. At Rotary Lift we are always improving and refining our products. As we make changes, our replacement parts are upgraded to offer the latest advantages and designs. The aftermarket lags behind trying to copy these changes.
